Caribbean Vacation during May/June?

My boyfriend and I want to vacation during May-June time to the Caribbeans for about 4-7 days. I’ve only traveled to Europe so I don’t know much about the Caribbeans and we aren’t sure of where to go at all.

Are cruises cheaper for two people? or is flying to an island and renting a hotel room cheaper?

I’m looking for an area that has beautiful clear beaches with lots to do such as snorkeling and a good venue of things to do (good restaurants, clubs, bars). I am also on a budget so I’m looking for a cheap or fairly priced area as I am still in college and only 19. Which brings up another issue of somewhere I can possibly drink as well?

I’ve heard Providenciales of Turks and Caicos is very nice, but I’ve heard a million other places are very nice as well..

Websites with cheap but good hotels or deals will be a great deal of help!

I have traveled to many Caribbean islands and loved them all. With that said most serve at 18 yo so not a big worry there. The Turks and Caicos are very nice but not on a tight budget, very expensive. During the summer alot of Caribbean Islands discount becuase its thier slow season. Grand Cayman is very nice but also pricey. Hummmm, try to look for a good Deal in the Bahama’s. I would also Suggest Cancun ( yes I know its not a Caribbean Island). It has everything you asked for above and tons of other things to do. You can also get great prices in May and June. Try www.Cheapcaribbean.com. They run good deal. An all Inclusive in Punta Cana in the DR would also be a good choice and you would play for everything up front including drinks and meals.

May and June is the HOT season in the Caribbean and also the start of their hurricane season. Cruises are fun because you get to visit a few places within a short amount of time and a lot of activities are available on the ship. You can also go enjoy an all-inclusive resort and pay for services like the spa or snorkeling/scuba diving.

St. Luca/Montego Bay, Jamaica/Punta Cana Dominican Republic have really nice all-inclusive resort options available at great value. Provenciales is really nice but it is quite expensive and an all-inclusive option at a good resort runs about 3000-4000 per adult with airfare for a 4 night 5-day stay on average (assuming you are flying somewhere from the East Coast).

Try Vacation Express at http://www.vacationexpress.com they offer amazing deals on all-inclusive and discount airfare if you book them together. Safe travels!

Well I was about to tell you that you should go on a cruise until I read that you are 19 years old. At your age you cant go on a cruise unless accompanied by an adult…but that would have been the cheaper alternative for you guys. You can still have a look though because I am not sure how old your Boyfriend is:

If that does not work out you can try considering Barbados.
Barbados is a beautiful island. Lots of lovely scenery and so much to do, morning noon and night. You can never get bored because there is something for every type of person to take part in. Barbados is also romatic. Activites for kids and older ones…you will not regret visiting! The island has great beaches and is wonderful for shopping too! In Barbados you can also swim with Turtles. Wonderful sandy beaches with clear blue waters. Why not make this your destination?

As it relates to accommodation, there is a lovely resort in Barbados called The Barbados Beach Club. This is along the South Coast and has a lovely beach view.
